Privacy policy

HARA Facilities Cleaning (“HARA”, “we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, why we collect it, and how we protect it. We follow Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

What we collect

When you request a free walkthrough, we collect:

• your name and work email address
• your phone number, if you choose to give it
• the size of your office, the times that suit you, and your city
• whether you asked to receive occasional updates from us, and when
• the date and time of your request

We don’t ask for sensitive information, and we don’t store your IP address with your request.

Information collected automatically

This website is hosted by Cloudflare. To deliver the site and protect it from spam and attacks, Cloudflare processes technical information such as your IP address and browser details. Our spam check, Cloudflare Turnstile, runs only when you reach the last step of the walkthrough form. We don’t use advertising or analytics cookies, and we don’t track you across other websites.

Why we use it

• to arrange your walkthrough and prepare your quote
• to contact you about your request
• if you tick the updates box, to send you occasional news from HARA. You can unsubscribe at any time.

We don’t sell or rent your personal information.

Consent

By sending a walkthrough request, you agree that we can use your information for the purposes above. Updates are separate: we only send them if you tick the box, and you can withdraw that consent at any time by replying to any email from us or contacting us.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of service providers who process information for us and are required to protect it:

• Cloudflare, Inc.: website hosting, security, and the database that stores walkthrough requests
• Resend: delivery of the emails about your request
• Google: the email inbox we use to read and answer messages sent to our contact address

These providers store information in the United States, so it may be subject to the laws of that country, including lawful access by authorities there. We may also disclose information when the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep walkthrough requests for up to 24 months, then delete them automatically. If you become a client, we keep the information we need to provide our services for as long as you are a client and as the law requires.

How we protect it

• encrypted connections (HTTPS) across the whole site
• access to requests limited to the people who need it, with two-factor authentication on our accounts
• security keys kept out of our website code
• regular security checks of the website and the systems behind it

Your choices and rights

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted, and you can withdraw consent to updates at any time. Email harafacilitiescleaning@gmail.com and we will respond within 30 days.

If you’re not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

If something goes wrong

If a breach of our security safeguards creates a real risk of significant harm to you, we will notify you and the Privacy Commissioner of Canada as the law requires.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
